As a graphic designer with over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry and a degree in Global Arts & Identities with a focus on the Middle East, I have a unique perspective on design and marketing trends. My design aesthetic is modern and clean with a touch of whimsy thanks in part to my time as a specialty cake decorator. I have an eye for color and I love using minimal design for maximum impact. Above all, I believe in the power of good design not only to create beauty but to improve the way that we interact with information in the world around us.

In addition to graphic design, I have several years of experience with event management, social media, and product branding from my time as Taproom Manager at Trophy Brewing in Raleigh, NC. In my current role as Production Coordinator in the Exhibitions Department at the Detroit Institute of Arts, I continue to use my design and communications expertise to facilitate the production of exhibition labels and graphics as well as museum publications.

When I'm not at the art museum or doing freelance design work, I love to spend my time in the kitchen cooking, baking, or cocktail making. I am an avid podcast listener and post apocalyptic Sci-Fi fan (Margaret Atwood and Octavia Butler are two of my faves). I live in Ferndale, Michigan with my partner Kay and our rambunctious pup Rhubarb.
